Current Projects


Within project Yellowstone the technology of pyrolysis and melting, combined in elementary retraction, is investigated and implemented within North Brabant. The main partners in this project are BOM, Brainport Development, MRE Stimuleringsfonds, TU/e and CORE. The targeted waste streams consist out of sludge, batteries, pyrolysis waste and many more waste streams.

Project PFAS

Within project PFAS an alternative technology for remediation of polluted soil is investigated. The technology used is developed within the ‘extra-innovation time’ of two students (Niels Bongers and Dirk van Meer) within CORE. The technology has been further developed by order of Schiphol and is now currently in transition towards its first POC installation on site.

Project IVER BV

Within project IVER BV the technology of melting, is implemented in the north of the Netherlands (Delfzijl). In the old Ensartech installation our technology will be installed and operated in order to recycle pyrolysis waste, car materials and polluted soil. The main partners in this project are NOM, TONNON BV, AMBIENT, Eekels TBI and CORE.

Project ETNA

Within project Etna, the technology of melting, is implemented in Gelderland on the innofase terrain in Duiven. The goal of this project is to build an improved version of the IVER BV installation. The installation will be able to process 4 times as much waste per year as its northern sister (120.000 Tons per year).  The key partners in this project are ECO Architecten, Municipality Duiven, IVER, CORE and Waterboard Rijn & Ijssel. The targeted waste streams are polluted sludge, car waste and many more.

Project Proof of Concept Pyrolysis

This is a fully internal project, in which the art of pyrolysis is translated into the current age of green technology. As ideal technology for battery recycling and e-waste treatment the next generation pyrolysis installation is designed within the student team.

Project Proof of Concept Melting

This is another internal project, in which we are using our own oven to test the opportunities of elementary retraction. The installation will be delivered to the student team in June 2020 and will be fully operational. The key steps within this project are the development of the scrubbing installations and the performance of experiments.
